The River Cottages are perched overlooking a gracious meadow and the gently arcing Webutuck River. Newly constructed, they remain distinctly “Troutbeck” in their understated, residential and collected style, offering refuge and respite in exceptional comfort. Enjoy westerly sunset light from an expansive porch. Generously spaced each from the next, the cottages are situated within a private enclave with accommodations for up to twelve adults if booked together.
Our River Cottages are sanctuary spaces, offering refuge, respite and inspiration. Oversized windows frame the view. Elements familiar to Troutbeck include handmade four-post king-sized beds by Ian Ingersoll (Cornwall, CT), ceramic lamps by Dumais Made (Bantam, CT) and natural wood accents throughout. Ample soft seating face tiled gas fireplaces. A dining table that seats 4, at which to write or have breakfast. A screened sliding door leads to your private outdoor porch, protected from the elements.
The Two Bedroom River Cottages boast 785 sq ft of interior space plus 180 sq ft porches.
