We’re situated amongst the vibrant and engaging communities of the Hudson Valley and western Connecticut. Visit Millerton, Amenia or Wassaic, NY and Sharon, CT by complimentary bicycle. Zipline Catamount in summer or ski it in winter. Hike, fly fish, ride horseback, gravel or mountain bike, take a farm tour, visit a distillery, a bookstore or any number of beautiful shops nearby. Truly, there is something for everyone. Troutbeck is active with arts and cultural programming, with curated events on property and off all year.

SEEKING SHELTER: NOVEMBER AT TROUTBECK

Intensity is guaranteed in the weeks ahead, and planning a respite for health and wellbeing is essential. Hearths are stoked constantly and outdoor chimineas and firepits create cozy enclaves from which to enjoy the still vibrant leaves.

While it's remains glorious outside, the creature comforts of Frette linens, deep bathtubs, and thoughtful warming meals are ever more necessary.

COTTAGE COURSES: WRAPPING PAPER PRINT-MAKING

On Sunday, November 24, join head flower farmer Alisa of our neighboring Maitri Farm to create an exquisite centerpiece for your holiday table using evergreens, berries and other festive natural items.

This holiday table scape-making is a lovely way to get the family together and see friends. Participants are charged per wreath, not per participant.

DAN HARRIS RETURNS

As part of Troutbeck's Luminary Series, join us for a conversation between lauded author, former news anchor and meditation advocate, Dan Harris, and our Culture and Commerce Director, Sascha Lewis, followed by a brief guided meditation led by Dan. Open to all ages and meditation experience levels, Dan's philosophy combines "ancient wisdom and modern science to help you do life better." Book a room with us for that evening and your ticket is included in your room night.
