We’re situated amongst the vibrant and engaging communities of the Hudson Valley and western Connecticut. Visit Millerton, Amenia or Wassaic, NY and Sharon, CT by complimentary bicycle. Zipline Catamount in summer or ski it in winter. Hike, fly fish, ride horseback, gravel or mountain bike, take a farm tour, visit a distillery, a bookstore or any number of beautiful shops nearby. Truly, there is something for everyone. Troutbeck is active with arts and cultural programming, with curated events on property and off all year.

Summer is in full swing now. Never a better time to head upstate for long walks, strong serves via tennis lessons, and cool dips in our Pool.

JULY 4TH HOLIDAY WEEKEND AVAILABILITY:

Benton Cottage - 4 guest rooms, 4 en suite baths, private living room, dining room, kitchenette and outdoor areas - is available for the holiday weekend (3-night minimum), as are 2 other rooms. Our brand new sister property, Belden House & Mews in Litchfield, Conn. has some availability. More details at bottom.

Our July 4th Celebration promises to impress, as ever, with locally sourced ingredients woven together with panache by Chef Vinny Gilberti.

BELDEN IS NOW OPEN EVERY DAY

Our sister hotel, Belden House & Mews in Litchfield, CT, has some July 4th weekend availability, so if you want to be in the area, consider staying there with its gorgeous Bathhouse and Pool. Otherwise, when you visit Troutbeck this summer, do visit Belden for a meal. Serving a locally sourced menu by Chef Tyler Heckman (Hotel Chelsea, El Quijote, Villanelle, Ferris) with seafood as the star, it's open everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a reservation.
