A DUSTING OF WHITE
It's finally beginning to feel like Winter, we've even had our first snow! Within the houses, the fires are lit again. The halls are being decked. The amaryllis and paper white buds are planted, and there's a sense of the goodness of gathering, of speeding toward a promised slow down and chance to celebrate.
They are going quickly, but we still have a few rooms available the weekends before and after Christmas, a rarity, and Benton Cottage - 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, living room, dining room and kitchenette, is available from 12/29 through the new year, so do take advantage of this chance to be in residence here.

DIVINE DINING DAILY + FOR THE HOLIDAYS
While we have glorious holiday menus (à la carte and prix fixe) set for the Christmas Eve, Day, and New Year's Eve at Troutbeck, we need not relegate the importance of dining together, breaking bread, sharing in conversation with the obvious days on the calendar. Join us for a meal with someone you treasure in December and feed your souls.

We have so much program in store this month, from Gingerbread House (12/8) and Holiday Cookie (12/21) decorating with Chef Emma to a Paper Mache Ornament Workshop with local artist Polly Shindler (12/22). Then, between Christmas and New Year, beloved Sova Puppet Theater returns on 12/28.
