We’re situated amongst the vibrant and engaging communities of the Hudson Valley and western Connecticut. Visit Millerton, Amenia or Wassaic, NY and Sharon, CT by complimentary bicycle. Zipline Catamount in summer or ski it in winter. Hike, fly fish, ride horseback, gravel or mountain bike, take a farm tour, visit a distillery, a bookstore or any number of beautiful shops nearby. Truly, there is something for everyone. Troutbeck is active with arts and cultural programming, with curated events on property and off all year.

We made it: Spring is here. We see buds pushing up from the ground. The magic of Troutbeck in springtime is forthcoming. Our Spring Offers contain many incentives to lure you here mid-week in the months to come.

And remember: Our four new River Cottages and Two Bedroom River Cottages debut mid-May and are now bookable.

GREEN GLORY

Don't be suprised to see an extra bloom of green on the plate this month, as fiddlehead ferns, nettles, ramps and spruce tips and arrive. With them will come their spring mates: morel mushrooms. Can you tell that we love how Executive Chef Vinny Gilberti does Spring?

Reminder: Whole Roast Chicken Dinner (available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights) $100 for a 2-course feast that feeds 4 adults.

On Saturday, April 11, join Shaina Loew-Banayan of Cafe Mutton in Hudson, Efrén Hernández of Casa Susanna in Leeds, and Troutbeck's own Executive Chef Vinny Gilberti and Emma Isakoff for a special Hudson Valley Magazine GATHER Culinary Event at Troutbeck.

The Troutbeck Symposium, taking place from April 22-24, showcases student-led historical research from across the region.

After a year of exploring local histories, students present original films, artwork, and research, bringing overlooked stories to light and highlighting the power of young people as historians.
