As the very name implies, Troutbeck's identity is tied to the water that flows through it. Dunham Creek leads into Weebatuck Creek, which eventually flows into the Housatonic River. Proximity to these gorgeous, soothing water features is essential to the feeling of being at Troutbeck.
We offer seven campsites with firepits — Beach, Meadowood, Upstream, Delamater Glade, Benton, Burroughs, and the Point — that can be booked for fires (and s'mores) and picnics. We also have three sites — the Spring, the Gazebo, and the Red Bridge — that may be booked for picnics, but do not have fire pits.
You may book a site by speaking to Reception, or reaching out before your stay to . If you'd like to arrange a picnic, a member of our Culinary team will reach out to organize your menu items. We do not charge our guests for booking the sites, just for the food and beverage ordered for the experience. Guests are also welcome to bring drinks from the bar to any of the sites.
