Please note this event is postponed. Recently Maitri Farm's bridge took damage during a high water event, forcing them to undergo a massive construction project at an accelerated pace to preserve the only working point of entry and exit to the farm. This construction overlaps with this event, and sadly we will have to postpone. If you are interested in attending at a later date, please email . In the meantime, please support Maitri Farm by visiting their farmstand, open Friday 12-6pm and Saturday 9-1pm (except when closed August 12-24 for construction).
Calling all Members! Head over to Maitri Farm in Amenia for a lovely afternoon with farm manager Jenn and head flower farmer Alisa. You'll tour the farm, seeing what they are growing in their fields and high tunnels, and visit the main house to see the owner's contemporary art collection.
11AM - Arrive at Maitri Farm for an immersive walk through the farm fields with their talented head farmers Jenn and Alisa. Learn about their vegetable and flower growing practices (all organic!) and harvest some of your very own during the peak harvest season.
NOON - Picnic lunch (option to order from Troutbeck or BYO)
Please note that Troutbeck picnic lunch pre-orders must be made by August 19
1PM -Tour the Main House, with three floors overflowing with magnificent artwork collection (and open for viewing exclusively for members today!) Artworks by Rob Pruitt, Cyrus Amundson, and many more.
Please note that the farm stand will be open and members may shop for produce and flowers, while at Maitri.
