Artroom Atelier's Messy Jessy, has created a collaborative papier mâché project for families looking to relax and get creative.
"Papier mâché is my favorite process! It’s like a magic trick. Under a layer of newspaper we hide what’s called the 'armature', or the cardboard skeleton of our bunny. By giving our Bunny this newspaper skin, we make her separate parts whole. "
Jessy encourages adults to work side by side with young children, or set up kids 6 and up to work independently, following the steps described in the instructions here and here .
