The gateway to the upstate cultural and creative corridor, Troutbeck - re-envisioned and carefully updated – is again what it was to so many before us: inspiration, respite, restoration, folly, community, nature and nurture – carrying forward its 250-year legacy of hospitality.

Dine at TroutbeckFor the unofficial start of summer, we're embracing the Norwegian concept of Friluftsliv, a state of mind that embraces being in harmony with nature. Get creative with Cottage Courses Weaving with Nature, enjoy our annual Memorial Day BBQ with roast suckling pig, and refresh your summer wardrobe with Amundsen's Field Shorts Tour.
Weaving with Nature is a drop-in style, kid-friendly workshop. Using sticks and yarn, you will create our own loom, gather natural materials (a treasure map will be involved), and weave with your findings! Drop-ins of all ages are welcome.
