Join esteemed Troutbeck yoga instructor Kendra Lacroix for a 2025 Rest + Renew Reset on Saturday afternoons this winter at The Barns. Kendra Lacroix is an experienced yoga instructor and mindfulness practitioner based in New York's Hudson Valley. Her journey into yoga began through an innovative Jesuit education program that integrated Eastern mindfulness practices with traditional academic studies. This early exposure sparked her passion for understanding the therapeutic applications of ancient wellness practices, particularly their impact on sleep quality, anxiety management, and holistic well-being.
Throughout her international career, Kendra has immersed herself in diverse yogic traditions across multiple continents. Her studies encompass Buddhist meditation in Los Angeles, vinyasa practice in Paris, and kundalini yoga in New York City. During two-years in Jakarta, Indonesia, she began developing her teaching methodology, which combines dynamic vinyasa flows with moments of stillness and reflection, creating a balanced practice encorporating physical strength, mental clarity and spiritual awareness.
A certified vinyasa yoga instructor, Kendra continues to expand her expertise through advanced studies, including coursework in Chinese Philosophy through HarvardX and specialized research in the parasympathetic nervous system. Her teaching philosophy is informed by both Eastern wisdom traditions and contemporary understanding of the mind-body connection.
